'Titanic' set to hit the iceberg yet again, this time in 3D

Memorize the date - April 6, 2012. Why do I ask you to memorize it? Is it another doomsday forgery?? Nopes! It is the date that has been finalised for the release of James Cameron’s epic movie - Titanic in 3D.
The release date has been calculatedly chosen, to synchronize it with the date of the 100th anniversary of Titanic ship setting sail i.e. April 10, 1912.

"There’s a whole generation that’s never seen Titanic as it was meant to be seen, on the big screen. And this will be Titanic as you’ve never seen it before, digitally remastered at 4K (resolution) and painstakingly converted to 3D" James Cameron was quoted as saying by News.com.au.

Titanic is the second highest grossing film ever, the highest being Avatar, which is directed by Cameron himself. Certainly Cameron won’t mind if Avatar becomes the second highest grosser provided Titanic 3D becomes the highest one!

Titanic bagged a whooping 11 Academy Awards in 1998, but will it be able to create the same magic 13 years later? Grab on your 3D glasses because you absolutely don’t want to miss watching Jack and Rose romancing in 3D.
