Kareena breaks her silence on ‘Heroine’..

Kareena Kapoor, talks about Madhur Bhandarkar’s Heroine.
She says, “The whole world knows that Heroine is my movie, that it was written for me and Madhur was in talks with me. I couldn’t do it because of date problems so he moved on. What happened in between is not my concern” .
“I don’t have any dates till January next year so I’m not going to sign on any movie till October. I’m really keen to work with Madhur but you’ll have to wait for an official announcement,” says the Kapoor girl.
Bhandarkar met Kareena Kapoor in Hyderabad and narrated the film’s script to her. “I was there to meet Saif (beau Saif Ali Khan). I’ll leave people to fantasise about what we did there, but let me tell you, I don’t listen to scripts in my personal time.”
Say’s Bebo, “I liked the script that was narrated to me; if the director is open to discussion, we’ll talk more … He brings out a different side to an actor … I’ve always been an experimental actor rather than just a singing-dancing, glamorous star. I made my debut with the off-beat Refugee and did Chameli when I was 22. I’m open to all kinds of cinema.”

The Singham Movie Review

The ApunKaChoice movie review of Singham. Half way through director Rohit Shetty’s Singham, it strikes you why Indian films haven’t had many superheroes a la Superman, Batman and Spiderman. We don’t need them. Our regular heroes do the needful. The likes of Rajinikanth, Salman Khan -- and now add Ajay Devgan to the list -- are adept at superhuman feats like flicking a cigarette in the air and lighting it with a bullet (of all things), or bashing up a truckload of baddies without getting as much as a scratch on their goggles. Needless to say that all these stunts are punctuated by gravity-defying leaps and hops so incredible as to leave both the trampoline manufacturers and physicists alike in a tizzy. The bottom line is: we proudly anoint brute force at the altar of credulity. And director Rohit Shetty’s movie Singham, starring Ajay Devgan, is a typical example of it.All in all, Singham is a brash celebration of brute force. Cowboys & Aliens - Movie Review

The ApunKaChoice movie review of Cowboys & Aliens. When you saw the trailer of Cowboys & Aliens, you must have thought that it is going to be one cracker of a movie… I thought the same! After all, the story rides on such a unique concept - cowboys fighting it out with the aliens! But unfortunately, the movie fails to deliver!
The movie revolves around a man (Daniel Craig…we will reveal his character’s name later; you will understand why so) who wakes up with an injury in the middle of a Mexican desert, without any memory and a strange bracelet around his wrist! While trying to figure out things, he reaches the nearest town called Absolution. Somehow, he gets involved in a fight with the local rich man’s son, Percy (played by Paul Dano). He (Daniel Craig) is then arrested by the local sheriff, because, although he has lost his memory, he is the most wanted criminal of the town by the name of Jake Lonegran! (Now you know why we didn’t reveal his name earlier!) The background score by Harry Gregson-Williams is an exciting one. After watching the trailer itself one realises that whatever be the case, the background score will not be disappointing.
Over all Cowboys & Aliens is a below par movie and a waste of a unique concept. The movie will not catch anyone’s attention: neither the cowboys’ nor the aliens’!

Gandhi To Hitler - Movie Review

ApunKaChoice movie review of Gandhi To Hitler. This Friday’s release Gandhi To Hitler demands an unconditional suspension of belief. So if a you see an actor whose every facial twitch reminds you of some dreamy Mungerilal now dressed up as the World War 2 monstrosity, Adolf Hitler, try not to wince. And if you spot a Russian or French soldier awfully tanned like some louts from apna Verar, try not to laugh. For all its claim to document the contrast of two ideologies and for all its attempt to tout itself as “A Masterpiece on World Peace” (the film’s tagline), Gandhi To Hitler is painfully farcical and downright ludicrous. The script is a disaster, equally matched by shoddy performances by the actors, the otherwise tolerable Raghuvir Yadav included. But the most deplorable is the decision to cast Indian actors as the Germans, Russians and French. If this was Rakesh Ranjan Kumar’s idea of experimenting with truth, it falls flat on its face. To put mildly, it gives the film a farcical look and one wonders if the director should have gone the whole hog and rather cast a foreigner to play Gandhi.

Krrish 2 is sold even before shooting

Rakesh Roshan’s forthcoming venture Krrish 2, a sequel to the super hit film Krrish (2006) has not yet started shooting. It will go on floors sometime in October and is being planned for release on Diwali 2012.
But, the film is already sold to multiple distributors in India and overseas. Even the satellite rights and DVD rights have been sold. Music of the film composed by Rajesh Roshan is said to have been bought by T-series for Rs 6 Crore.
According to trade circles, Krrish was a runaway hit and somehow the audience had taken to the lead character’s childlike innocence and his extraordinary IQ. They expect Krrish 2 to be a bigger success than the original.
Krrish 2 stars Hrithik Roshan, Priyanka Chopra, Chitrangda Singh and Vivek Oberoi. Like the earlier Krrish, the sequel also is expected to have adventurous episodes, spine-chilling action thrills and lots of special visual effects.

NGO Nanhi Chhaan enabled their rendezvous with Mrs. Obama

It was like a dream come true for all four girls of Qila Jiwan Singh village of Jandiala Block, District Amritsar when they met the First Lady at National Crafts Museum, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi during her visit to India. Accompanying the girls from Punjab was Ms. Baljit Kaur (42), sarpanch of village Qila Jiwan Singh, the youngest woman sarpanch in Punjab.
Two girls hailing from poor Dalit families, Manpreet Kaur (13) and Ramanpreet Kaur (12) studying in VIII and V1 standard respectively at the state-run Elementary & Middle School were selected randomly for meeting Mrs. Michelle LaVaughn Robinson Obama, First Lady of the United States.
And so were Apreet Buttar (11) and Ankita Dhukia (10), both studying in VI standard at Guru Harkrishan Public School in Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan.
All four of them represented dual cause on their date with the First Lady – the abysmal sex ratio in not just their home state Punjab and Rajasthan but across India as a country, and the declining tree cover. Nanhi Chhaan Foundation (NCF), a not-for-profit organization having twin goals of restoring the gender ratio and increasing tree cover in the country, had sponsored and enabled their meeting with the First Lady.
“We firmly believe that little girls who grow up to be mothers imparting a blissful shelter to the family, and trees that grow up to provide the life sustaining cover to the ecosystem are the greatest givers and therefore need to be protected and preserved. Thanks to the US Embassy, girls representing the cause met the First Lady today. It is as powerful a platform as we could be gifted with, to promote the dual cause and be blessed twice over,” said Mr. Harpal Singh, Chairman, Nanhi Chhaan. For the girls, especially, Manpreet and Ramanpreet from Punjab, it was an unforgettable experience as well. They had never stepped out of Punjab before this. Being a motherless kid and brought up by her uncle, Manpreet has braved all odds to do well at school, especially in Kho-Kho, a regional sport. Ramanpreet, daughter of a farm labourer, too has a corner reserved for ‘prizes’ won at the school in her one-room house. She dreams of becoming a doctor. Their village, including the school, has been adopted by Nanhi Chhaan.

Bollywood’s A-certificate films rake in moolah

“Delhi Belly” has shocked quite a few with its toilet and sex scenes and generous use of expletives, but the A-certified film got a bumper response. With “Haunted” and “Murder 2″ also raking in the moolah, these movies have shown how to make money despite having a restricted audience.
“The reason we are seeing A-movies becoming hits is because people are experimenting a lot with the subject. Gone are the days of happy family with Ram Rajya-type subjects. Just to get out of the family drama zone, Bollywood is experimenting with subjects, language and characters,” director Rahul Dholakia told IANS.
“Delhi Belly”, an adult comedy produced by Aamir Khan, has broken the dry spell at the box office by earning Rs.15.65 crore on its first two days and Mohit Suri’s crime thriller “Murder 2″ earned Rs.34.9 crore net in the first week.
“Full credit should be given to two people for this change in Bollywood – one is Sharmila Tagore and the second is Vinayak Azad. They are the ones who made a revolutionary change in cinema in the last five years. I love the way Bollywood movies are made nowadays,” he said.

Sonam Kapoor dazzles at Manish Malhotra’s show

Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor dazzled Sunday night as she walked the ramp in noted fashion designer Manish Malhotra’s couture show as a surprise showstopper on the third-day of the ongoing Synergy1 Delhi Couture Week in the capital.
Dressed in white lehenga and heavily embroidered red backless overcoat with embellished gold work, the actress opened the designer’s bridal collection inspired from the old world charm and majestic opulence of royalty that prevailed in India during 1930-1940.
Actress Urmila Matondkar also made a rare guest appearance for Manish’s show.
The collection was an amalgamation of traditional and contemporary silhouettes with a touch of British influence.
“I have reinterpreted the 1930 and 1940s style of clothing in my designs. The collection had a flare of everything that a couture garment should have. I felt it’s the time to move away from duplication and revisit the classic style with glamorous look,” said Manish Malhotra.
The women’s wear included ghagaras, lehengas, suits and saris and the colour palatte ranged from cherry reds and burgundy with tones of mint green, aqua, and off whites.
“I also showcased men’s wear line because I thought why to keep the bridegrooms alone. They are as conscious of their style nowadays as the brides. It’s time they also get their due importance,” said Manish.
Also present in the front row was actress Sonakshi Sinha, who previously walked the ramp for Shantanu-Nikhil’s show, besides Shweta Nanda and Jas Arora.

Mahi Gill’s hot scenes make Ramu uncomfortable

Ram Gopal Varma is not really a man of niceties but while shooting a torrid lovemaking scene between actors Mahi Gill and Deepak Dobriyal for his film Not A Love Story, a different side of the filmmaker came to the fore.
Believe it or not, but Ram Gopal Varma, felt shy and even sorry after the lovemaking scenes were shot. So much so that he shot off a “sorry” sms to Mahi Gill.
“Ramuji was very apologetic about the love making sequences...I had to reassure him it was fine,” Mahi Gill is quoted as saying in a media report.
Mahi Gill went on to add that she was surprised to see this side of Ramu as a “quiet, withdrawn and a shy person”.
Ram Gopal Varma admits that he was uncomfortable during the shoot as the lovemaking scene is very intense and has three long kisses between Deepak and Mahi.
Not A Love Story is inspired from the Neeraj Grover murder case and Mahi Gill plays the character modelled on Maria Susairaj.

    Singham - Movie Review

he ApunKaChoice movie review of Singham. And director Rohit Shetty’s movie Singham, starring Ajay Devgan, is a typical example of it.
Normally, expecting sense, sensibility and subtlety from a Rohit Shetty film is to make yourself a butt of his jokes, but with Singham -- an action flick where the hero is dead serious while the villain leaves you doubled-up with laughs -- you do expect a tittle of the three S. All you get instead is a mix of style, spunk and savagery, attractively packaged in a palimpsest bearing Dabangg traces.
The protagonist Bajirao Singham (Ajay Devgan) is the cop, the jury and the executioner all rolled into one brawny body. On the beat through the dusty alleys of the sleepy village Shivgad, he imparts justice as he deems fit. He’s honest and fearless. A showdown with a dreaded Goan ganglord Jaykant Shikre (Prakash Raj) puts Singham on Shikre’s hitlist. What follows is Singham’s transfer from Shivgad to Goa, Shikre’s home turf, where Shikre, in his own words, is a shikari out to hunt down Singham. Will Singham cop out against the all powerful enemy or will he grab the bull by the horns?
The movie pretty much follows the good-versus-bad template to a T, with long ‘conscience-invoking’ monologues thrown in to add some corn to the otherwise spunky affair. There’s also a nod to vigilante justice where cops take turns to kick a corrupt politician’s butt, and a long corny monologue by Devgn before the fag end makes you wonder if Shetty was switching from action to comedy.
Ah! There’s also a tepid love story between Singham and a Goan girl Kavya (Kajal Aggarwal), who tragically enjoys lesser footage than even the old and cynic constable (Ashok Saraf). And then there’s also a divine justice angle given through a sidetrack about an honest cop who committed suicide after being falsely implicated by the evil Shikre.
Which brings us to perhaps the only rave of this review. Prakash Raj. Never since Amrish Puri’s dramatics as the bald Mogambo has one enjoyed villainy so much as in the badmen played by Prakash Raj, be it in Wanted or Bbuddah - Hoga Terra Baap or Singham. It’s villainy with a comic streak and kudos to Prakash for pulling it off repeatedly.
More than anything, Singham is a collage of Devgn’s brawns. The swarthy star does stunts galore and takes off his shirt on at least two occasions (but don’t rejoice, ladies, for unlike Salman in Dabangg this cop wears a vest). The stunts have Rohit Shetty written all over them. The car crashes and car topples are aplenty but nothing beats one stunt where Devgan steps out of a skidding car to shoot at a baddie.
All in all, Singham is a brash celebration of brute force. If you wanna watch Ajay Devgn decimating a dozen fellows singlehandedly without ruining even the crease of his trousers, Singham is the film for you. If you get goose pimples by the sight of cars flying like wingless aircrafts, Singham is the film for you. And though Ajay Devgn is surely good as Singham, Prakash Raj is the real Kingham.

'Murder 2' rocks the box office

he Bhatts’ latest presentation Murder 2 is rocking the box office despite mixed reviews and the repetitive slag of being plagiarized.
The movie raked in a very good collection in its opening weekend. It took off on Friday on a positive note with a collection of a little over Rs 7 crores. The Saturday was equally good though there was a slight dip to Rs 6.5 crores. On Sunday the figure notched up to Rs. 8.75 crores. Summing it up, the weekend collection of the film is more than Rs 22 crores, which is second best to Salman Khan’s film Ready.
The Bhatts are obviously having the last laugh despite all the flak the film got for being a copy of the Korean film ‘The Chaser’.
In comparison, Salman Khan’s first production Chillar Party fared just average. The film had a listless start on Friday with a paltry collection of Rs. 45 lakh. On Saturday the figure went up to Rs. 1.10 crore and sloped to 1.60 crore on Sunday. However, the film has got critical praise.

Meanwhile, Delhi Belly has emerged a SUPERHIT with a collection of Rs. 48.75 crore nett in its ten-day run at the box office.
The coming Friday would see the release of Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara which is expected to fetch a good opening at the box office.

    Complaint filed against 'Delhi Belly'

Delhi Belly continues to remain in the news, for both reasons good and bad. While the film’s still trotting strong at box office, it’s producer Aamir Khan and director Abhinay Deo have been taken to court for depiction of “obscenity” in the film.
Farah Ayaz Ghani, reportedly an event manager and a small time film producer, filed a complaint on July 8 in suburban Bandra Court against producers -- Aamir Khan, his wife Kiran Rao and Ronnie Screwvala -- director Abhinay Deo and writer Akshat Verma under various sections of IPC.
The filmmakers have been charged under IPC sections 292 (obscenity) and 295 (deliberate and malicious acts intended to outrage the feelings of any class by insulting its religion or religious beliefs.
Magistrate Vasant Patil has fixed July 27 for recording statement of the complainant, her lawyer Prashant Pansare told a news agency.
Ghani alleged that vulgar and foul language was been used in the film. Moreover, she says a scene depicting the character conducting a robbery while clad in a burqa insults the religious sentiments of minority community

    Life, Above All: movie review

Chanda (Khomotso Manyaka), the fearsomely brave 12-year-old girl from a South African township in "Life, Above All," is overburdened with woe. Her baby sister has just died; her mother (Lerato Mvelase) is mysteriously sick and getting sicker; her stepfather, wasting away, is a vagrant alcoholic; and her two younger, uncomprehending siblings are in her care.
To the film's credit, for all that she has to contend with, Chanda never comes across as a saint or an icon. She is, above all, a 12-year-old girl. Her resilience is her only weapon of survival in a hostile community where the spread of AIDS, which is what her mother has, is regarded by the township folk as divine punishment.
Director and coscreenwriter Oliver Schmitz, who was born in Cape Town and has worked in films and television since the mid-'80s, has an unerring eye for capturing the sorrow in these situations: the way Chanda and her mother hold each other, the look on Chanda's face as she surveys the human wreckage around her. He doesn't linger over the compositions, though. His emotionalism is highly principled.

Sonam Kapoor’s advice to guys: get a pedicure

B-town’s fashionista says grooming isn’t only for girls

Sonam Kapoor sure knows how to make the men sit up and take notice. First, she rocked the Kapoor (as in Ranbir) khandaan when she joked about her Saawariya co-star’s er… asset on Koffee With Karan. Now, she has gone ahead and said how men in general should get manicures and pedicures! B-town’s resident fashionista said on Simi Selects India’s Most Desirable that “Men should really get a pedicure done!! As there’s no harm in it – it isn’t girly! But at least they would get their corns and inner growth removed.” Well guys, now you know what you should do to impress Sonam. Go on, rush to your nearest salon!

Why is Kajal going so gaga over Ajay?

The Singham girl is all praises for her co-star, for his spontaneity and helpful attitude

Working with a star can be a nerve-wracking experience and if it is someone like the talented Ajay Devgn, anyone would be on tenterhooks. But Kajal Aggarwal, the recent import from the south who is cast opposite him in Singham, can’t thank Ajay enough. Insiders say that he is one actor who doesn’t like to rehearse before a shot, but likes to keep it spontaneous. However, the Golmaal hero made an exception for Kajal during the making of Singham. “I love to have rehearsals before every take,” says the young lady. “So I would request him to practice his lines with me. He would sweetly oblige. He doesn’t need rehearsals. He is so impromptu with his work, but for my sake he encouraged rehearsals, because I was comfortable with that,” reveals Kajal. But that’s not all. “And he gave me one tip. I very naturally speak very fast. So he used to always tell me to slow down.” Well, it’s nice that Kajal has pleasant memories of working with the actor, but she had better take note of what happened to Ajay-Kangna Ranaut friendship. The buzz at the time was that the two were very friendly while filming for Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai, but it all changed during the Tezz schedule. Not only that, Ajay and Kangna have now reportedly decided not to work together for a while. We hope Kajal doesn’t want to follow suit where that is concerned!

Harry Potter Takes Biggest Hollywood Film Opening Of 2011

Harry Potter And the Deathly Hallows Part 2 has taken the biggest opening for a Hollywood film in 2011.
The first day collections are around 4.75 crore nett and the prints arrived late at a few centres due to the multiplex revenue sharing issues.
The best opening prior to Harry Potter And the Deathly Hallows Part 2 was Pirates Of The Carribean: On Stranger Tides at 3.25 crore nett on first day. but Harry Potter has beaten it by nearly 50%.

Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara Emerging Winner

Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara had a good jump on Saturday as it grossed around 9 crore nett on Saturday. This takes the two day business to around 16.50 crore nett.
The film is being totally driven by multiplex business all over. Multiplexes outside metros that were not so great on Friday showed good jumps on Saturday. The metro multiplexes were phenomenal and Sunday looks set for a repeat at metro multiplexes as many shows are full in advance.
The film is a non performer at single screens as collections stayed the same on Saturday as on Friday. The film should emerge a winner on the strength of all India multiplex business.

Have a yummy Jalebi from Mallika Sherawat

The crew of “Double Dhamaal” had quite a treat on the sets and not just with actress Mallika Sherawat grooving sensuously to the song “Jalebi bai”, but also with piping hot jalebis.
Director Indra Kumar used to order as much as 25 kg of jalebis (Indian sweet) daily for the entire unit to feast on. In fact, on the last day of the song’s shoot, all the unit members including choreographer Ganesh Acharya and diet conscious Mallika had a party of sorts with hot jalebis.
“The item song was shot at Mehboob Studio, and the mood was so festive and celebratory that we decided to have sweets everyday in honour of the song! We ordered around 25 kilos of sweets for the entire unit and since sweets are always associated with celebrations, the entire mood of the crew used to be very upbeat,” said Kumar.
Mallika is already being talked about for her sizzling dance in the song “Shalu ke thumke” from the yet to be released “Bin Bulaye Baraati”, but Kumar says “Jalebi bai” is a step ahead.
“The song promos will be up by this weekend, and we are sure it will be a huge talking point! Mallika has outdone herself as Jalebi bai,” he added.
“Double Dhamaal”, a co-production by Reliance Pictures and Maruti International, will release June 24. The world premiere of the movie will take place on the same date at the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) weekend, to be held in Toronto.

    Kangna’s kissing woes

The makers of Double Dhamaal have bought the rights of Tridev’s (1989) hit ‘Oye oye...’ to be featured in the movie. During the shoot of that song, actor Kangna Ranaut was supposed to get close to her co-star Riteish Deshmukh. But she faced constant problems cozying up with him, thanks to his African-retro disguise. Ritiesh wears a large wig as part of his costume, due to which Kangna had problems kissing on his cheek.
After several retakes, they finally managed to shoot it with different dance moves choreographed by Ganesh Acharya. “Despite combing it down, Riteish’s wig kept troubling us. Nothing helped but finally, thanks to Ganesh, we managed to shoot around the wig,” says a source from the film’s unit.
Produced by Indra Kumar and Ashok Thakeria in association with Reliance Entertainment, Double Dhamaal releases on 24th June.

Emraan upset despite Murder 2 being a hit

It is a 'kabhi khushi kabhi gham' situation for Emraan Hashmi. Despite Murder 2 turning out to be his biggest film ever in terms of opening weekend collections, he is barely managing to celebrate with his friends and members of Bollywood fraternity. Reason being that over the weekend, he was summoned by the makers of The Dirty Picture to report in Hyderabad for the film's shooting schedule.
“Emraan is feeling really irritated about the state of affairs”, informs a friend of the actor, “He wanted to stay back in Mumbai and closely monitor how the film was progressing. In fact till Friday night he was also sneaking into single screens as well as multiplexes to check out audience reactions. By the time details started pouring in around Friday's collections, it was crystal clear that Murder 2 was a hit. However Emraan could hardly rejoice as he had a flight to catch to Hyderabad on Saturday afternoon.”

Priyanka Srivastava, Sonali Joshi and Vivek Kar

Spoofs seem to be the latest fad in Bollywood. Close on the heels of Salman Khan's hit song Character Dheela from Ready and Aamir's not such-a-hit I Hate You Like I Love You from Delhi Belly (both take-offs on old-time Bollywood), rumour has it that industry's current favourite Priyanka Chopra is all set to take on this generation's cult item girls Sheila and Munni, in a new item song.

The industry is abuzz with the speculation that Piggy Chops' first ever item number in the forthcoming film Tezz will be a spoof on the hit item numbers Munni Badnam Hui and Sheila Ki Jawani. The actress, who has never performed an item song per se, has reportedly agreed to give dates for song in question.

Though known for her inimitable sex appeal, and never one to shy away from 'bold' sequences where scripts called for it, Priyanka had categorically refused to ever do an item number in an interview. But the 28-year-old has apparently had a change of heart-perhaps considering how Munni and Sheila became overnight rages nationwide.

Secondly, Priyanka is not oblivious to the fact that the popularity of rivals Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone took a giant leap post their item forays in Tees Maar Khan and Dum Maaro Dum respectively.

Sources claim that Priyanka's item debut is intended as a funny take on Munni and Sheila. Tezz is being directed by Bollywood's favourite funny man Priyadarshan, and will star Anil Kapoor, Ajay Devgn and Kangna Ranaut.

However, going against Priyadarshan's staple comedies of error (Malamaal Weekly, Hera Pheri), Tezz will be an action thriller , and has been shot extensively in Europe. Priyanka's number has apparently been composed by the music-director duo Sajid- Wajid. So will Priyanka be the new item queen? Wait and watch!

    Bollywood Gupshup - The Tidbits

This is your one stop shop for the latest happenings in the town. The buzz. The release plans. The launches. The works. Yes, this is serious business and we will bring to you the most reliable information twice a week. Have a dekko.
Post the success of 'Double Dhamaal', Sanjay Dutt's age old 'Chatur Singh Two Star' has finally been revived. Started in 2008, the film was in cans for long but would now be releasing on 19th August.
With Emraan's 'Murder 2' taking a huge start, it is now yet another addition to his successful outings with director Mohit Suri that have ranged from 'Zeher', 'Kalyug', 'Awarapan' and 'Raaz - The Mystery Continues'.
Bollywood is praying that three high profile clashes in second half of the year - namely 'Agent Vinod' v/s 'Ladies v/s Ricky Behl', 'Don 2' v/s 'Agent Vinod' and 'Force v/s Azaan' are averted. No one wants a repeat of 'Game v/s F.A.L.T.U.' or 'Delhi Belly' v/s 'Bbuddah Hoga Tera Baap'.

Kareena in 'Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai 2'!

Yeah, that's the hot buzz that our birdies got to know....!
They heard that our B-town's hot, talented beauty Kareena Kapoor has been roped in for the sequel of 'Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai'. The actress is said to share the screen space with Akshay Kumar who plays the protagonist in the second version of the blockbuster movie.
Earlier speculations were rife that Sonakshi Sinha is being considered to play opposite Akshay. Then top names like Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra were also thrown about.
However now with Kareena, seems like OUATIM 2 will have a fresh and exciting identity. Bebo will probably play Mandakini, Dawood (Akshay)'s love interest in the sequel.
Kareena and Akshay have already worked together in movies like 'Aitraaz', 'Bewafaa' 'Kambakkht Ishq' as a pair besides few others. In OUATIM 2, let's see how their chemistry works against the backdrop of underworld.
